Optional assessment analytics
We use Replit-hosted analytics (Umami) to count assessment page views, newly saved requests, views of unlocked interview instructions, and interview call-button clicks. Our regional policy enables optional measurement by default for visitors identified as being in the United States, unless they opt out. For all other or unknown locations, measurement stays off until permission is given. Saved refusals and browser Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals override regional defaults. Use “Privacy choices” at the bottom of any page to change or withdraw your choices without affecting your assessment.
To apply this policy, our server checks the network address supplied through our hosting proxy against a local country database. We do not send it to an external geolocation service, return your address or country to the page, or store it as part of this lookup. Country detection is approximate; VPNs and proxy services can affect it. If the lookup fails, we request permission instead.
Our custom assessment analytics events contain only a fixed event name, a fixed assessment page path and title, and the hosting tracker’s website identifier. They do not contain names, business names, email addresses, phone numbers, reference codes, receipt tokens, challenge text, or other form-field contents. We do not include URL query strings, fragments or referring URLs, and automatic Replit analytics pageview collection is disabled in favor of these limited events.
Your analytics preference is stored in this browser’s local storage until you change it or clear browser storage. This is separate from the necessary assessment-access cookie. Analytics delivery uses our hosting provider’s service; network requests necessarily expose connection information such as an IP address to that service. We do not associate analytics events with your saved assessment record.
Retries of the same saved request are not counted as new sign-ups. Optional analytics can miss events when permission is declined, a tracker is blocked, or a response or analytics request is lost. A call-button click is not proof that a call connected or an interview was completed. Calls and interview completion are not integrated into website analytics.
